Well folks, somehow, some way we’ve made it 16 days away from Christmas. I hope you’ve been finding my gift guides helpful. We’ve already covered preschoolers, toddlers, ladies, and gents. And now I have time for just one more - stocking stuffers.

Growing up (well and actually still to this day), stockings were always my favorite part. As a kid it was the candy filled treats and as a teen it was the makeup and gift cards that excited me (and always an orange from the fruit bowl shoved down at the bottom). Now that our family has adult children, it’s usually the fun gadgets and little “I never would have bought that for myself” things that fill our needlepointed stockings Christmas morning.

Below I’m rounding up some stocking stuffer ideas for grown ups and kids - from the practical to the fun items. And since Christmas is so close - all of these are ready to ship and ship quickly! Tick tock y’all!

As always, thank you for your support of The Rose Record in shopping from my links this holiday season. I appreciate you!

1.) Matte Acrylic Mask/Sunglass Chain - This perfect shade of olive meets gray matte mask chain is so so chic. I think I’ll be wearing a mask for quite some time, but should that finally end it also doubles as a sunglass chain. Goes with everything and means you won’t let the thing that touches your face also touch your dry purse or, gasp, the dirty table at a restaurant. $15. Ships quick!

2.) Star Shoelaces - Have a pair of plain white kicks that need some jazzing up? These fun star shoe laces come in a whole rainbow of colors. I ordered some to go with my new sneaks. Great for “cool moms” or tweens and teens. Also really loving these fun glitter laces (the 47” are perfect for my shoes). $4

3.) Winter Golf Gloves - If your husband is anything like mine, it takes a tornado to keep him off the golf course. (Literally, he once played through a tornado warning and got home minutes before it hit Dallas.) I bought these for his stocking, but ended up giving them to him a few days ago when he went to play and it was under 50 degrees at tee off. He approves - said they kept his hands warm and still held the clubs easily,.

4.) Designer-Like Sunglasses - These are my latest love. Look very similar to a big designer but for $15. Love the oversized frame - great for hiding my dark circles. I find the lens quality to be pretty good too - very clear for driving. Come in solid black and a few other color ways too. $15

5.) Pop Sonic Ultrasonic Exfoliating Tool - I ordered this one late night when I couldn’t sleep and was watching QVC (my go-to background noise show). I was amazed at how well it worked. It has tiny little vibrations that help you get touch blackheads and white heads out. Great for the chin and nose. You can also turn it to a different setting and the vibrations will help open your pores to absorb whatever serum you’re using. Great for circulation (and therefor smell turnover) too. Here’s a great demo video. If you have a beauty junkie on your list, this is a must for them. $55

6.) Billie Razor - Hands down one of the best purchases of my 2020 is my Billie Razor subscription. Not only does it make my life easier, but it is by far the best razor I’ve ever used. Love the little magnetic holder so it doesn’t get gunky. Their shave cream is wonderful as well. $9.

7.) Nars Climax Extreme Mascara - My latest mascara obsession. It coats really well and gives full and long lashes. Use a primer though beforehand so it doesn’t transfer. $24 (Sephora) or $20 (Nordstrom)

8.) Automatic Wine Opener - Ok so this one might be a little too big to fit in a stocking, but it’s such a great gadget I had to include it. Ours that we’ve had for years just died (they say they’re good for 800 bottles of wine!) and we miss it dearly. No cranking or pulling or weird rabbit ears. Just place on top of the bottle, hit a button and done. Cork is removed. Comes with a charger but we only charge it once every month or so; it lasts a long time. $24

9.) Magnetic Animal Toys - These are our “restaurant toys”. I keep them in a little cosmetic bag that I throw in my purse before we head out to eat. Both kids will play with them long enough to wait for their Mac and cheese and chicken fingers to arrive. Seems like a silly little toy, but it’s good for a range of ages and doesn’t have too many pieces. $23.

10.) Rainbow Bath Bomb - This is so cool y’all! Its a giant bath bomb that fizzes rainbow stripes. The coolest! My kids adore bath bombs so I think this will be a huge hit. $15

11.) Boys Socks - BORING I know. But, my kids are growing like weeds and I swear Deacon’s socks all of the sudden look like baby socks. All the cool kids have tall socks it seems. 6 pack for $12

12.) Tangle Pets Hairbrush - Anyone watch Shark Tank? We are big fans. These were on a few years ago and I thought it was SUCH a smart idea. If you have a child who doesn’t like to have their hair brushed, this cute little brush distracts them because omg its a cute little piggy but wait oh its also a super efficient wet brush detangled. So smart. So fun. I have a feeling we’ll be brushing baby dolls’ hair with this as well. $11

13.) Ruffle Socks - Our favorite brand of ruffle socks for Emilia. It’s just time to go up a size because my baby is almost two (I’m not crying, you’re crying). 3 pair for $12.

14.) Electric Toothbrushes - A must-have in every stocking and easter basket. We love this two pack. Work really well and aren’t too clunky for their little mouths. 2 pack for $9.

15.) Watercolor Paint Pods - I have a little budding two-year-old artist on my hands and she is going through paints at a rapid pace. This cute watercolor set has lots of colors and the other side of the case can be used for mixing colors in the little grooves. And we all know, mixing the colors with water is half the fun. A wonderful gift for a more serious older artist too. A step up from the regular old Crayolas. $11

Hopefully you found a few new ideas to throw in your stocking this year! And don’t forget to have a set of batteries and a screw driver handy Christmas morning because all those toys don’t come with batteries!
