2021 Nordstrom Anniversary Sale
/Hi everyone! One of my favorite sales of the year is happening - The Nordstrom Anniversary Sale! This sale gets decent coverage every year on social media (to some people’s annoyance), but I, personally, always get a few pieces to add to my fall wardrobe, stock up on coats for the kids, and gifts to have in my on-hand stock pile. The deals are good. Really good.
Dates of the Sale
You need to have a Nordstrom Card to access the sale. If you’re like me and an “influencer” (nothing to do with my job - just the level of which I spend each year at Nordstrom), you get earlier access which begins at 2am this Friday, July 16. See the full list of date and access levels below.
How To Shop The Sale
I do most of my sale shopping online because you never know if inventory will be in stock in stores (and rumor is this year they’re having trouble getting inventory to the stores on times) so online is your best bet. You can save items to a wish list by hearting them on their website, that way once your access begins you can just add to cart and check out. A lot of popular items (shoes, barefoot dreams items, and in this case I think many of the coats) go out of stock quickly so this is your best bet to getting what you want. You can use my links in the round ups below and then add items to your wish list.
I usually go back through a few days later and give it all a once over again. I usually buy Al a few items later because I feel like the guys stuff doesn’t sell out as quickly. I’ll add my men’s recap to this post once I finish it!
Here’s the bummer about different access levels, THINGS SELL OUT. It stinks. Add them to your wish list anyway so you have record of what you wanted. You can then turn on alerts for restocks or check back later on in the sale. Some of the items in my collages below are already sold out - I apologize! But, it’s hard to make these in advance and make sure items are in stock by the time it goes live.
And don’t forget Nordstrom always has a FREE SHIPPING + FREE RETURNS policy so if you’re between sizes, better to order both and send one back.
My Favorites - By Category
I planned to do a quick once over of the sale for y’all, but my favorites were quickly growing so I broke it down into categories - in my cart/wishlist this year, beauty, home & gifts, kids & baby, and tried and trues (those things I have purchased in the sale over the years that I still use today). Links for all are below (including similar items and plus size listings) and you can always shop via the LTK App as well. UPDATE: I just added a round up for Mensware at the bottom of this post. There are SO many great deals on mens clothing.
In My Cart / On My Wish List This Year
I’m keeping it light on the sweaters this year, but clearly I am having a coat crisis! These cashmere sweaters (love that pretty blue, but it comes in SO many colors) are a must-have at a can’t-be-beat-price and I adore the silhouette of that black boat neck sweater. It and the black tank (that you can wear with a regular bra!) are both perfect for simple date nights. I’m obviously not buying four camel coats, but they are all so wonderful! I think I’ll probably go for the quilted one (plus size listing here) and the tie blush trench because I think I’ll wear them the most. That blush trench one will take me from fall to spring and is the perfect weight for Texas. Great over jeans or over a dress! I was less impressed by the denim in this year’s sale, but I’m going to try this new-to-me style and keep y’all posted as to what I think. And clearly off-white footwear is my choice this year. Going to attempt the white bootie this fall. I like that they aren’t bright white. And that mini bag reminds me of my little lilac one I wear and use ALL THE TIME. Full links for everything below!

Tried & Trues
If you’re going to pay attention to only one of these collages, let this be the one. These are all items I’ve purchased over the years in the Nordstrom Anniversary Sale that I STILL use all the time. Seriously, as I type this I’m wearing my barefoot dreams sweater on top of my Moonlight Pajamas while snuggled under my barefoot dreams blanket, wearing the diamond studs I never take off. I’ll spare you what undergarments I’m wearing, but safe to say they are both on this collage. I got a version of this leather jacket (plus size version linked here) a few years ago and I still reach for it time and again. A wardrobe always needs a tan suede bootie and I love the cut out sides on these, and a white sneaker is a must-have for everything dresses to jeans. And don’t forget last year’s biggest seller for me - these skinny jeans. Second runner ups to my favorite joggers and leather leggings.

Best of Beauty
I used to not pay much attention to the beauty deals in this sale, but the last few years I have been very impressed by the gift sets and discounts on many of my beauty standbys. The best news of this sale, truly I think THE very best find is (Oprah voice) MY FAVORITE MASK IS ON SALE. The Tata Harper Resurfacing mask is my very very fav and it comes in a set with three mini sizes of their other masks. I also have this Khiel’s mask in my cart because #research. The curling iron I use for tighter waves (its a 1.25” barrel is super marked down and I always, always buy Olaplex when it’s on sale (see this post for why), and this set with shampoo, conditioner, and No. 3 is marked down over $40. My favorite liquid eyeliner is bundled in a two pack - one for me and one for a friend. Always stocking up on Oribe Texture Spray. I’v been on the hunt for a new eyeshadow palette and this Charlotte Tilbury one is gorgeous. Going to try these new Nars Tinted Balms this year and this facial steamer (would make a great holiday gift if you like to stock up early) has my beauty cadet loving heart very excited. Home & Gifts
I included a few more of my tried and trues on this collage because they make such lovely gifts (totes okay to gift something to yourself!) On the gift front, a Barefoot Dreams blanket or cardigan are always lovely for anyone who needs some extra comfort (and this just in they now make Barefoot Dreams PET BEDS and PET SWEATERS!). I always snag at least one set of these candles and break them apart for teacher gifts or hostess gifts throughout the year. I love these bracelets (great for tweens and teens) and these diamond hoops are a timeless classic. For the home, I bought this print last year and it looks SO good layered on my bookshelf. I’m grabbing this wave one and this lifeguard stand one for Deacon’s gallery wall in his bedroom. These Nest Diffusers are an always-buy for me and our favorite and most-used nonstick pan is also marked down 50%! Full links and prices below.

Mens
I always seem to order all of my stuff fin a rush as soon as I get access and then go back later and order my husband a few items. Honestly, I think this year’s sale has the best deals for Men. In Al’s case, he’s starting back in working in an office, but it’s far more casual now. These lightweight tech pants with hidden drawstring are just the perfect item to look pulled together at work, but secretly comfortable. He also loves this brand of chinos-meets-jeans. They’re great for any time - going to dinner, going out, wearing around on a Saturday. The tan color is my favorite, but I also love this gray. If your guy needs a new suit, this one and this one are both fantastic deals from good quality brands. I always snag Al another one of these dress shirts (also love this more casual style). This year I’m eying that quilted jacket for him since he won’t need his nicer wool dress coat. And don't miss these comfortable and versatile loafers. Al got them last year in the NSale and legit wears them every day. (If you’re looking for a more high-end loafer, this is a great deal on Ferragamo). I think I’m going to snag this cute white sneaker for him this year; I love the pop of green. The accessories this year are also promising - I LOVE these Tom Ford sunglasses and this dopp kit or this tie would make a great gift.

What’s Left In Stock
These shoes are gibing me Jenny Kayne Vibes at half the price - and they’re $100 off! These over the knee boots are so similar to a much pricier brand and are such a timeless look. The NuFace mini I talked about in my stories lately is still avail. This is SUCH a good deal! This art print (and similar ones here and here) are such a steal and look so great framed as a grouping or layers on a bookshelf. Don’t miss my favorite t-shirts on sale for $!2! tons of colors. And since the belted trench I wanted badly (see in my cart collage at the top) was sold out, I ordered this one to try. I think that pretty rust color will be beautiful for fall! Many of the cashmere sweaters are sold out, but I found this beauty in stock in most sizes. I love it’s slight mock neck and lightweight. Also comes in black. I wear my Barefoot Dreams cardigan every single day (the AC is too blowy so I need a sweater). I have this style which is out of stock I most sizes, but this cute shawl style is in stock in all sizes! This funnelneck oversized sweater is in stock I both the gray and a beautiful tan. I see it front tucked into some jeans or even over leather leggings this fall. And only $40! This $32 fuzzy jacket looks like something I would grab constantly to throw on over both jeans and athleisure. Its never too early to plan for winter. I’m loving this chic take on a “sleeping bag coat”. That green is to die! (also comes in white and gray). This wallet would make a terrific gift. I’m all for buying now and giving during the holidays!
TOP ROW: Black Over The Knee Boot (was $250, now $165), Fur-Lined Mule (was $170, now $70), Barefoot Dreams Blankets - honestly it’s worth the hype. Trust. (was $147, now $98), Framed Beach Print (was $40, now $29
MIDDLE: Striped T Shirt - tons of colors and patterns (was $20, now $12), NuFace Mini Set ($219, $358 value), Lightweight Workout Top - also in black and gray (was $49, now $32), Cashmere Mock Neck Sweater.- also comes in black (was $225, now $139), Marc Jacobs Wallet (was $225, now $129)

Thank you!
As always, thank you so much for relying on me and shopping my links for this sale. It takes a lot of time and work to scour 100 pages of sale items, but somebody’s got to do it! Seriously though, I really appreciate your support. You can also shop all of these quickly via the LTK app. And make sure you’re following me on there!
P.S. Last year’s Nordstrom Sale round up if you’re curious.
