Hi friends! If you’ve been keeping up with me over on Instagram stories, then you’ve seen that we are fdemo-ing our back yard right now to add turf and a patio. BUT before that all began, I had plans to update our covered deck area for the season (it’s staying put! just tearing out the lawn and old concrete below it). This is how it looked last winter (gosh I miss Lily girl!). (Not the best photo at all, but all I have at the moment!)

What’s on our deck now:

We have four of these swivel chairs which have held up SO well over the past two years. The cushion covers are washable, but last year I just hosted them off with this spray and they looked good as new. We also have this coffee table which is super durable. I found this console (similar smaller version here) last year and love it (looks really similar to this much more expensive version!). Our outdoor rug made it a solid two years, but it was time for a new one. We just get SO much of that yellow pollen this time of year that I don’t like to invest too much in outdoor rugs. I’d rather just pitch them every few years. I decided on this one, but also love this and this. I’m really happy with this layout, just wanted to freshen a few pieces and update accessories.

Because we are investing so much in our new yard, I was trying to keep this deck refresh on the more affordable side. Below is a little collage of all things from WALMART and OVERSTOCK that can quickly put a pep in your patio or outdoor area. I can’t wait to see this all come together!
