Valentine's Day Looks + Ideas
/TBH before kids I was pretty meh about Valentine’s Day, but as my kids have gotten older it’s been fun to have a little fun thing to celebrate in the middle of winter. We don’t really give gifts for Valentine’s Day, but I like to set out a new book for each kid and maybe one fun thing (think silly socks or a hair bow) on the counter for them to see that morning. Here are a few ideas for looks and small gifts to help celebrate LOVE day.
1.) Furry Sweater - This is SO warm. Emilia has the blue color. But if you’re kinda ehhhh about Valentine’s Day apparel, this pink sweater seals the deal just fine. $23
2.) Gingham Heart Dress - This is the SWEETEST style. Add red or white tights and you’ve got yourself a heartbreaker. ( I also love this one if you want an all-pink look.) $37
3.) Heart Sweater - Ordered this for Em. Love that it’s not overtly valentine’s so she can wear it all season. Runs a little small. $21
4.) Glitter Heart Headband - I know several little girls who would wear this cute clear glitter heart headband well past Valentine’s Day. Would be a cute one to leave out for them Valentine’s morning. $23
5.) Heart Waffle Maker - For only $10 this thing will bring so much joy to my kids. Waffles are one fo the few things Deac enjoys eating (with peanut butter no less), so I can’t wait to surprise him with heart shaped waffles on Valentine’s morning. $10
